Uprise Zine Street Team

The life of Uprise Zine can be traced back to about 2005. It’s owner Dave Darr started a cheaply made magazine by which he made his own copies and distributed throughout Rocketown (Nashville venue). As popularity began to grow he decided to branch out away from Rocketown and start a major publication which would reach kids beyond the Nashville Area.
Uprise Zine features Music, Skateboarding, Art, and Faith all tied into one in an attempt to connect with you the reader. The meaning behind the name is simple. Uprise means this: "rise up, embrace the gifts and passions God has given you, never give up, and never surrender yourself to the world."
This street team is devoted to the readers and bands who truly want to help Uprise Zine make a difference in our society through Music, Skateboarding, Art, and Faith. By spreading the word of Uprise Zine, one day we may be a household name.
