About Me

I am half way through my senior year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago now. I am committed to staying in Chicago as I fell in love here and with this city also.We are getting married on June 7th and will have the reception at one of Tony's friend's from work's homes. We are planning on about 150 but we want to make it a much smaller event. Wish us luck dealing with all the family issues.School is going great but I am very ready to finish up and get working. I will start looking around Easter.Love is in the air.....

I'd like to meet:

I met him already! I have been seeing Tony since I moved to Chicago. We are getting married in the fall in Chicago. More as we work out the details. He is from NYC and is just about as different from me as I can imagine. He is 2 years younger and has been working at his uncle's company since he finished undergrad at Hofstra. He is interested in business and I am not but we both love art, music and the windy city. We both love, love pancakes at Svea!

Movies:

I love foreign films. Most recently I am recently on a Kar Wai Wong run. I really love 2046 and In the Mood for Love and have seen them both multiple times. Anything by Luis Bunuel. For light fair I love Best in Show and Spinal Tap. My most recent enjoyments: Borat, All About My Mother, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! ,Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, The double life of Veronica, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, The 400 blows, Europa 1951, The man without a past, Radio Days, Sunset Boulevard, The big sleep, Apocalypse now!, M.A.S.H, Shortcuts, Raging bull, Mean streets, The war is over, Loneliness of the long distance runner, Godfather part I,II and III.

Television:

I don't watch much TV but if I could afford cable I would get a Tivo to record movies, The Simpsons, American Idol, Six Feet Under, Sex in the City, and the Sopranos.

Books:

Too many to name - I read all the time and wish I had more time to read. Into Poetry and been reading a lot of Robert Pinsky.

Heroes:

Gandhi and Martin Luther King
