About Me

I hail from good ol' Lit City, Nevada.....
Las Vegas in other words
I am a self-published street poet who has put out 20 pamphlets and one full-length book, (WHITEFLAGSUCKERPUNCH - you should check it out) I've been at the writing thing for awhile now (ever since the 7th grade, so, for about 12 years) and now I feel like I should move into other projects also
Back in 2004 I wrote a verse to poem that stated....
"One day I'm going to write some songs
Because not many people are turned on by poetry unless it comes at them from over a beat.
That would be changing the world
And by "that" I mean getting the youth to read....
But then again, its something that we desperately need
Like babysitters instead of T.V.
A little thing we call peace
And Tupac being taught in English Class.....
Watch half of the uninterested kids start to understand as its something that they can relate too.......
We've never seen Irish flowers in bloom."
And truthfully, this is a minor attempt at that
In actuality, this is my first attempt at putting some of my writings over music, and these are still rough copies
Right now, along with my second full-length book, I am also working on getting my first album done
so there you have it....
My reason for this page
Trying to expand to another horizon
Dabbling in the idea of Escapism
I hope you enjoy
My friends and I are working on trying to give you a new style of recorded poetry
I hope you give it a real listen and then decide what you think
You might just find the charm in it that we do
