I am here for Friends

About Me

I was born and raised in Georgia along with two younger brothers and a rather eclectic collection of pets. I started playing the piano around five, and continued to study through high school. the singing started as early as two years old, and even though I was painfully shy as a child, it continues to this day. growing up in a very musical town though, "I'm a musician" is not usually the first thing I tell people. there's a reason we have the saying "if you shake a tree an artist an a musician will fall out." sometimes it's even the same person. in fact, I studied Art at the University of Georgia. I also lived in Nashville for a couple of years (2000-02), before moving back to Georgia and finishing up not only one BFA, but a second as well. I miss Blue Sky, but Walker's brews Dancing Goats, so at least the coffee hasn't changed. most mornings I can smell them roasting coffee beans down the hill on my way to work.
