Make your own slideshow View all photosInicia su carrera a los 16 años en bandas locales, experimentando con alternar la música formal y el rock alternativo,siempre tirándole al feelin' nostálgico,meloso, armonioso.
Desiste del belcanto para dedicarse a componer su propia música y encontrar un estilo propio.
Estudia Lic Comunicación con perfil en medios y estudios culturales, mitad en Mexicali y mitad en Tijuana, en ambas ciudades coolaborando con distintas bandas de géneros como:
blues,trip hop,ambiental y pop electrónico.
Coolaboró en dos películas independientes: "Polvo"dirigida por Aaron Soto y "Orillas" dirigida por Julio Bañuelos, para quien grabó el tema musical junto con Murcof. .

Arvöles -trío de música electroacústica en su vertiente ambiental formado por Fernando Corona ahora como 'Murcof' y 'Terrestre' en teclados, secuencias y flauta transversal, 'Jazmín Mariscal' en Voz y Argel Arhkota en guitarra acústica y percusion. Irradia -propuesta de musica electronica formada por 'Jazmín Mariscal', 'Rubén Miranda' de Tovar, Luis Antrobot y 'Sebastián Farrugia' en bateria.
Ultimamente hizo coolaboraciones con La Legión de la Luz colectivo dub de música reggae, formado por Sister Di, Sister Esme, Aurely Monraz y Cesar Avatzi entre otros...
La danza performance, contemporánea y africana son tambien parte importante de su formacion artística. Jazz de Mar starts formally her musical career at age 16 singing with local bands from Ensenada, experimenting also with Classic Music and Alternative Rock, always with a nostalgic, melancholic sweet harmonious feelin’.
After a while she gives up the Bel Canto to pour all her energies on finding a style of her own.
She has a Degree in Communication mainly with a sociological and media profile. Studied half career in Mexicali and the other half in Tijuana BC. At both cities she participated with several bands, in such genres as: blues, trip hop, atmospheric, and electronic pop. .
She collaborated on the production of two independent movies: “Polvo” directed by Aaron Soto, and “Orillas” directed by Julio Bañuelos, for whom she recorded a song for the soundtrack along with Murcof.
Performing arts, African and Contemporary disciplines are also a very important part of her artistic search. She is part of Las Quiero Performance Collective along with Aymé Giles, and also of the Tijuana’s Maquila Art Collective along with Alejandro Zacarías, Octavio Castellanos, Omar Pimienta, and others, with whom se has performed in several local events at Tijuana and San Francisco.
She is within two Nimbostatic //now Static Discos
compilations: “Motivos del sitio 2 9”and “La tejedora de nubes”.
Jazz de mar formed Ärvoles - musical electroacustic atmospheric trio- along with Fernando Corona Murcof, keyboard, sequences, and transversal flute, and with Argel Arhkota, as a percusionsist, also playing acustic guitar. After that she also sang with Irradia – electronic music proyect- Rubén Miranda “Tovar” sequences, base and guitars, Luis R “Antrobot” guitars, and Sebastian Farrugia at the drums.
Lately she participated with Dub Reggae Collective Legion de la Luz, formed by Sister Di, Sister Esme, Aurely Monraz and Cesar Avatzi among others.
