About Me

Started up in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1996 by Talal Ismail, with the idea of bringing people from different cultures together, who shared the interest in arabic music. In 1998 they recorded their first cd called "Sumer", which was a kind of a caleidoscope of arabic music from among 15 countries. In 2002, after have been recorded for the Norwegian television and some changes of members, they recorded their second album "IRAQ" with almost only Iraqian music from the 20th century. Both records have got very positive reviews, and the group have been invited to both Egypt, Jordan and England.
