Hey everyone, welcome to my page! I decided to rewrite my About Me section because there are some things I am always asked and I can answer it here. My birth name is Dorenda Broach. I took on the last name Madkins from my ex-husband. I have poetry published under that last name, so I prefer to keep using it. Karmen is what I am known as musically but I intend on using my real name, Dorenda Wynnette when I decide to do more music. I have a great love for art expressed through verbal and written word. When I am writing I feel like a free spirit with no limits. Some label me as stubborn and I admit to that. I am very strong-minded and do not do anything I do not want to do. I absolutely will not settle for less. I am very observant which I find a good quality in myself because in that process I learn a lot of things. Tell me why the sun is hot and you can guarantee I will do a deep research to find out for myself...lol. I am confident yet not conceited, firm yet humble. I am very loving but have a low tolerance for ignorance. I am working on that part of me, but I prefer to not be around people with that character. I have a mild temper but when its fired up, its blazing. Although it takes a lot to get me to that point. As I have gotten older, I tend to just walk away because I have learned that being argumentative only stresses myself out. Why waste a second of life on stupidity. Part of that change comes from me going through things and spiritual growth. I work from home as an employee for this company setting up business conferences from NASCAR to AVON to Political figures. I also am self-employed with my other job which is for a research service. I sell items in auctions from time to time on the side. Lets see, I have 4 beautiful kids which I only raise the 2 boys. They are private home schooled and it is alot of fun. At least 9 of the USA presidents were schooled at home, so I am very confident about it. Their learning is unlimited and can be focused on more important things. Oklahoma is starting a virtual public school next school year so I may look into that. Its public school but done at home through internet. As you can see, everything I do is from home. I count that as a blessing. Basically I am an independent woman who knows what I want out of life. I believe in setting goals and trying to accomplish those goals. I have been married, been through ups and downs, laughed and cried. I thank God for everything because it made me the woman I am...it was a growing process. I am very forward and do not pretend or mold to other people. What you see is what you get with me. I have never in my life been one to follow. I could go on and on but will end it here. This is a summary of myself and a glimpse of my mind.
