I work as an associate at a large international law firm. But one would hope you’re not using social networking to find yourself a commercial litigator.
In college, I wrote and edited for a fake humor newspaper at UCSD (The MQ). It was the most fun I ever had. Everything thereafter has been shades of disappointment. And I still think of everything in terms of how it can fit into a top-ten list.
I work a lot, but I'm pretty dedicated to having a good time when I'm out of the office. San Diego is more difficult than a larger city to find something interesting, but if you work a little extra, you can find out what’s up. My solution is to sit on every listserv in town. I have mad inbox filters.
In my free time I eat at restaurants and patron bars. I also like the cocktail parties thrown by the local museums, and San Diego’s weeknight fundraisers for the young professionals set. It’s a little bit tough to mix that with the music and house party scene, but I’m trying. And I could always use more leads, and more partners in crime.
