Chance Morrison

Morrison is a focused artist, to say the least. And his focus is like a reverse prism, capturing the different creative streams of his versatile musical vision and beaming them into a cohesive sound that is alive with cosmic energy and mentally and spiritually enveloping. Equally serene and energetic, his flavorful electronic new age compositions defy the triteness of much that is labeled “new age,” finding relevance and magnificence in a sound that is textured, matured, emotive and displays creative intelligence.

Unleashes You

Morrison writes music to unleash the spirit child in each listener, to free the mind from the restrictions of the body, to journey into spacious realms of pure being. It is bright and compelling but without pretension or ostentatiousness to distract from the core vision of music that uplifts and enlightens. But while the spirit floats free, out-of-body, the flesh itself can revel in the sensory charge that leaps in flows through the strains of Morrison’s music. “This music is humble, sensual and passionate,” says Morrison. “It makes you feel really good. You can do what you want; it unleashes you.”

No Tricks

Some musicians immerse their songwriting and performances in gratuitous flourishes and overwrought grandstanding. But while Morrison’s music is by no means simple, it is streamlined and stripped down. No excess drips from his music. It isn’t cloying whatsoever. It reaches gently through the mind and brings in a surge of cosmic energy that flows along a string of glass lit by the stars. “Keep the music simple,” says Morrison. “No quirky, tricky stuff. It doesn’t have to be difficult to be good.”

The Artist at Work

Morrison is busy playing shows in support of his new album, slated for release in 2008. He’s working with A&R Select, the world’s leading artist development firm, based in Los Angeles, CA, to further expand the consciousness of his consciousness-expanding music. Morrison is already earning a reputation. He’s an ideal collaborator and his creative process is efficient and goal-oriented. Morrison is the consummate professional and a devoted artist.
