HVR Recordings is run by Danny B. Danny has been playing music for 18 years now in far too many bands to mention but is currently the singer/guitarist in the band Takoma Star and the bassist in South American thrash metal band CRIMINAL. During these 18 years he has played venues across the UK, Europe and South America and has supported bands such as The Fun Loving Criminals, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, The Stranglers and The Blockheads as well as playing to tens of thousands of people on festival stages. As a guitarist and bassist he is endorsed by the highly acclaimed instrument manufacturer Dean Guitars and uses these exclusively when touring.
He has also been twiddling knobs in some way or another for the best part of ten years.
These ten years have been spent between the studio and the music venues of the world. This page is new so we will update it with a list of bands he has worked for either live (as sound engineer) or in the studio as soon as possible.
At HVR we love to work on any type of music from acoustic thru jazz to Grindcore and Black Metal. We have always tried to work within as many genres as possible keeping our ears and ideas fresh.
At HVR we are experienced in Pro Tools, Cubase/Nuendo and Logic and use these as our main recording platforms.
We use some of the best modern and vintage microphones and the newest effects and techniques to make each recording unique and to help your music stand out in todays crowded market place.
We have used modern audio recording practices for other work besides music, such as corporate work (including telephone systems menus) educational (talking books and foreign language courses) and providing music and voice for media (such as Radio Advertisement and voice over).
We are hoping to hear from bands, musicians and businesses alike who are interested in proffesional audio recordings that are of the highest possible standard.

Record to backing tracks - We understand that there are a lot of singers out there without bands. Why not record a cd with proffesional sounding backing tracks. Special cheap rates for solo artists available.
MIXING - In this day and age a lot of bands have their own recording equiptment at home. Why not record yourselves and get your demo or EP proffesionally mixed at HVR
