The Hitchcock Blonde

About Me

The Hitchcock Blonde has been part of the New York music scene for many years. Rooted in the classic music styles of bands such as the Velvet Underground, U2 and The Smiths, The Hitchcock Blonde adds modern rock flavors to the mix, giving them a unique sound. Songwriter Anthony Plank (guitar and lead vocals) has been playing with bassist Joey Monteverde and drummer Arthur Adams for over a decade in the trio Dharma Road. When it came time to enhance their sound and develop a slightly different direction, they rounded out the lineup with keyboardist Eddie Plank. The four members have played together, on and off, in the electric pop/rock project, Blush 66. In both Dharma Road and Blush 66, the boys have been performing and recording together for quite some time, solidifying the chemistry within the band. The time was right to bring their new songs and lineup to the stage. Look out for future The Hitchcock Blonde recordings and well as many live performances.
