Both Rick and I enjoy being on our different race teams on the Whelen Modified Tour. Rick is on Wade Cole's team (crew chief/spotter) and I am on Jake Marosz's team. I am officially the "owner", sometimes I spot and I used to score but scorers are not necessary any longer...YES!!..they have transponders in the cars now. We like to go camping at the races and especially like camping with the family. Atlantic City is one of our favorites spots..but don't get there very often at all. Not often enough...:-(...we get to go to Mohegan Sun Casino.Between the two of us we have six daughters ranging from age 34 to 15. In order by age: Kristina, Pamela, Carissa, Rachelle, Brittany and finally Mercedes, the baby of the family our six girls. We also have a granddaughter Aurora who is 4 1/2 years old and three grandsons, Ryan who is 3 years old, and two new grandsons, Brandon Jr. born Jan. 12th and Gavin Born Dec. 24th. We have a son-in-law, Lonnie, who is married to Kristina and another son-in-law to be, Carissa's fiancee Brandon.I don't like to shop...yeah unusual...and neither does Rick. We enjoy the races and it pretty much takes up most of our weekends from April to October..but we love it. I have a few drivers I really like on our racing circuit. John Blewett III was one of them until he was killed at Thompson Speedway on August 16, 2007. I have also gotten to know Shane Hammond's family who he was killed at the same track as John on April 6th, 2008. I have a couple of other favorite drivers who do not run the tour any longer, L.W. Miller, Nevin George, Dale Evonsion and a few others. Of course our guys, Jake and Wade, are on the top of our list.
