The first incarnation of the Furies started in 2005, when the whole "Warriors" thing was still a faint spark of nostalgia--as opposed to being totally played out with the reissue, video game, action figures, cereal...
2006 started off as a strong season for the Furies, until we were abandoned by our management mid-season. Just like Punky Brewster.
After being threatened to be kicked out of the league, we were embraced, revamped and reunited by Coach Moe, the "Henry from Punky Brewster" of the Saturday Softball League.
For 2007, although we're stuck with the passe' nomenclature, we make up for it with our awesome, sexy dance moves and injuries.
And we even play softball sometimes.
