About Me

The Bareknuckle Record Company is a small independent record label and recording studio, located in the heart of downtown Peterborough, Ontario. It is run by Daniel Jacobs, Neil Lorenzen, EL RACooN-o, and Patrick Walsh.The label has recorded several local artists, including The Venisons, Pat Walsh, The Fontanels, The New Originals, Sun RaRaRa & Weird Weather.The label was put on the map in late Summer while organizing the first ever 'Garage Rock Jubilee' in Peterborough Ontario. It was the first Garage Rock celebration of its kind, and brought Canadian wide interest in the event. http://news.guelphmercury.com/Life/article/255863We are a very small micro label hell bent at recording good rock music in the city we love.
