His journey to creating exemplary music began at the ripe age of 18, when he finally realized his true lyrical talents. Southern rap with substance has been deemed an oxymoron until now. Encompassing the poesy of Kanye West, dynamism of Outkast, and the free flowin' feel-good grace of T.I., Re'Nard Clemons is combining the best of best to create his own quality of music that can't be categorized."With my music, I want to be able to create an aura around me
that people will not be able to label," Re'Nard expressed. "I just want them to enjoy it, appreciate what I bring to the table as an artist, and most importantly, see me as more than just a rapper."With only three years of production under his belt, the fast rising talent has developed two mixtapes, one with partner J-Bonanza titled "Preciate Dat," and the other, "Screws of my Genius." Critics say both pieces are refreshing, new, and eclectic. Re'Nard has also dished out ready-to-air tracks such as "Excited" and "College Student" off of his mixtape "Screws of my Genius". His work is a reflection of his true-life experiences that, along with originality, distinguish him from the rest."I don't believe that anyone can just go in the booth and spit on the mic, or master and mix it just like that. I believe that one is born with those talents. Anyone can write something down, but to be persistent and consistent is another thing."Re'Nard is currently graduated from Columbus State University with a dgree in Marketing.
