Everyone has a passion. Everyone has that one thing that drives them and pushes them farther than they ever thought they could go; that one thing that could change their life, and potentially change the world. It’s our passion that keeps us going and keeps us trying, no matter how many times we fall. Passion is what gives you the strength to pick yourself up one last time. We make music. That’s what we do, but not necessarily who we are. We love music, but we love people even more. That’s how we want to be remembered; not as a band that made good music, but as a band who genuinely loved the people they made music for. We are on a mission to change the world in a huge way. This is our passion; this is our driving force that keeps us going night after night, show after show. This is what compels us to stay late and talk, or maybe even just listen, instead of going home early. We love people, and that is what’s going to change the world. Not the songs we write, or the music we play, that’s just what gets us through the door. At the end of the night, when everything is said and done and everyone’s gone, it doesn’t matter how well we played, how good our songs were, or even how much money we made. But if we were able to talk to even one person, and somehow make some sort of difference, then it was a good night. The same is true in life. At the end of it all, it doesn’t matter how much you have, because you can’t take it with you. Love is the only thing that matters. So is music our passion?
