RA WAS THEN INTRODUCE TO A MAN NAME (BUTCH) CHARLE H GREEN JR.(AN OLD AMERICAN GANSTA)WHICH LATER BECAME HIS STEP FATHER WHICH HE TOO HAD A SON NAME TARIQ.
THEY BOTH GREW UP IN THE GUTTA OF NEWARK, NJ WHICH GAVE THEN A NEW LIFE AND SHOWED THEM THE GAME OF LIFE ON A CHESS BOARD AT THAT TIME RA WENT TO NEW ARK SCHOOL.
(A BLACK PANTHER SCHOOL) AT THAT TIME IS WAS CLASSIFIED AS AN AFRICAN SCHOOL OF ART AND DRAMA. THATS WHERE RASHEED STARTED TO FIND HIS WAY IN MUSIC. HIS WAS THE ONE WHO HELP CREATED THE SPOKEN WORD READINGS AT ST.PAUL COLLEGE IN VA. HIM AN FRANKO OR SHOULD I SAY RAY.I wish to give the people the essence that they love about rap music and bring back the substance of rap.
Music is about telling the whole tell a story; not just bringing it one way or rapping it one way. I think rapping about club songs and selling the image is a great come back in rap history, lets keep it moving and lets evolve with change. With that in mind, lets bring more to the table with changes that show more elevation of diversity.
My aim is to empathize, through spoken word, the struggle of hard times which has evaporated from rap music. I want my music to make people dance and make people be aware of what's happening in our society today, and also let them know how crazy the youth gets by trying to over come obstacles of life with no guidance or no sense of direction.
