The Bad Mitten Orchestre

About Me

With influences that range from classical piano music to jazz to hard rock, the Mittens have fun experimenting with the cross-sampling of old-time sounds and contemporary subjects, pouring their emotions out over their ever-expanding collection of random instruments and other noise-making contraptions. Each one of their individual personalities shines on stage, and you will often find dancers from ages 3 to 83 shakin' their thangs on the dance floor. You are in for a crazy night of laughter, creative and innovative music, and an all round great time as a wide array of instruments are played along with extraordinary vocals. We will all be out of our seats dancing and having an uproarious great time. ---Katie Cavanaugh, award winning singer/songwriter and Harmony House Concerts CoordinatorRaw and creative, reminiscent of Tom Waits, exuberant dance music created with a crazy collection of instruments and noise makers guaranteed to provide a fix of joy and laughter. ---Blue Sky RoomFor booking, please contact us directly at [email protected].
