I created this Myspace page to hopefully connect and network with other entrepreneurs, business professionals, and other success driven people seeking the entrepreneurial life. If you're anything like me, you have always dreamed of starting your own business and being your own boss. If you're also anything like me, you have yet to find a way to actually start that business and have probably found yourself working in Corporate America for several years now.
I had almost given up hope in ever owning my own business when two major shifts happened in my life. Now, I am proud to say that I actually figured out a way that I could start my very own business, work from home and make money on the internet. This business has also given me the flexibility to work part time until I can eventually replace my current income...which is closely approaching. At that time, I will be a full time entrepreneur working from home finally living my life the way I’ve always dreamed of.
I consider myself extremely fortunate and blessed to come across the following business and I’m grateful for it every day. I am on a personal mission to share this opportunity with other motivated individuals who are inspired entrepreneurs at heart and are also seeking a way to start their own business. I will show you exactly how you can start your own business and work from home on the internet.
Before I get into that, a little about myself, so you know who I am.

So, who is this Eric guy...

Well, I’m 28 years old and I live in Southern California. I’m originally from the northeast and have been living in So Cal for the past four years now. If you’re anything like me, you were brought up and told that the only way to make it in life was to go to school, graduate from college, and work really hard for a company. I followed my parent’s wishes and that’s exactly what I did.
I got a job immediately following college and was quickly introduced to corporate life. Like most young professionals, I realized quickly that working for others was not what I expected it to be. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely hated being trapped in an office cubical all day…doing the “9 to 5”; dealing with the commute; fighting the traffic; putting up with the annoying co-workers…and listening to a boss all day. I was petrified to think that this was going to be my life for the next 40 plus years.

I wanted a “Way Out”…BAD!

I thought about starting my own business several different times throughout the years. The problem was…I truthfully had absolutely no idea how to actually do it. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when were we taught in school “How to become an Entrepreneur...” I received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from one of the top undergraduate universities in the northeast and still do not remember receiving the skills necessary to start a successful, profitable business...so much for that degree.
Sadly, I gave up all hope in ever opening up my own business. I truly thought there was no other way and decided to focus all my efforts and energy into my job. I figured the only way to become wealthy and reach my goals was to move up the corporate ladder. I currently work as a regional sales manager for a software developer in the healthcare industry. It’s taken eight long years…and I finally started to reach some of my financial goals.
I was stilling feeling a sense of incompleteness and still depressed working for others…
I set a goal at the beginning of 2007 to surround myself with more positive people in my life.

Then it happened…MY FIRST SHIFT.

I attracted an amazing girl into my life who is now my girlfriend. She was everything I was looking for...intelligent, always positive, great energy, free spiritedand and a ENTREPRENEUR. She introduced me into the network marketing industry, which I honestly gave very little thought to at that time. Like most people, I considered network marketing to be those get rich quick businesses…and I did not want to do a MLM. Been there…done that!
Our relationship over the next month or so was going great. Linda started introducing me into personal development and had me watch the The Secret.

The light turned on…MY SECOND SHIFT.

After watching The Secret, I quickly began to change the way I was thinking. I was a very close minded person and often times very negative without even realizing it. It’s so easy to spin into a negative spiral without even knowing its happening. I’ve worked extremely hard in being more positive…and continue to work at it every day. “Energy flows where intention goes.”
By changing the way I was thinking, and working on becoming a better person, it opened up so many opportunities for me. I came across a book called "Why We Want You To Be Rich" by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. Come to find out, both Donald Trump and Kiyosaki were both supporters of the network marketing industry. I was a bit puzzled by this because I do not recall either Trump or Kiyosaki owning a network marketing company...they clearly knew something I didn't know.
So, I decided to take a second look into Linda’s business. I was absolutely amazed to find out that during several testimonial conference calls people were making 1K, 5K, and 10K…IN ONE WEEK! You see, what I did not realize in the past was that network marketing is not what it was 5, 10, or even 15 years ago.
A new generation of network marketing called direct sales has come about that I had no knowledge of. I was just too stuck in my ways and closed minded to ever even consider it in the past.

Finally…I had my own business.

To make a long story short, I decided to join another network marketing / direct sales company that resonated more with me. (My girlfriend totally supported my decision).
I have been introduced to several Entrepreneurs in this business now, that all have very impressive backgrounds. The new generation Network Marketing companies are now attracting former business professionals, executives, previous business owners, mortgage brokers, realtors...and many other well established professionals.
Chasing family, friends, and colleagues is a thing of the past. MLMs are dying and there is a new concept called G.P.T. that is attracting so many people to this business. (You can learn more about G.P.T. on my website)

So, Why Network Marketing/Direct Sales?

I realized this business would give me many things that I could never get out of corporate life. I was not looking specifically for a business; I was looking for the things I’ve always wanted...more time, freedom, and financial independence. I finally figuered out a way to make more money without having to work 40 plus hours a week. I no longer have to count my vacation days; wake up to an alarm clock; hate Monday mornings; and be trapped in an office all day. I now have the opportunity to run a business and work from home giving me plenty of time to do the things I want most out of life...like traveling the world.
