frosty the snowman started making his music in 2006 just by chance,after buying a karaoke machine from an old man in an alley,it all started as a way to pass the time while getting high and drunk.for several years frosty the snowman has been writing, always with a notebook in his hand putting pen and paper into ryhme,always with another story to tell about real life everyday street struggles.growing up in the gang life he never had much of a choice,following his big brothers' footsteps he soon joined the gang at the age of 11,being so young he knew very little of what it was to be a gangster, he started slanging crack,tired of being laughed at for wearing wrangler pants and kmart shoes he soon stopped going to school to make money to buy himself some dickies and cortezes,getting high and drunk with his childhood friends also in the gang things were going good,but soon all that started to change,having all that spare time,he started getting into alot of trouble,with no rules to follow,he did as he pleased,dedicating his life to the only thing that mattered to him at that time,his gang and his homeboys.after years of troublesome times,and countless run ins with the law,now at the age of 27, having beaten many of the odds that kids face these days,hes been able to make a positive out of so many negatives,although much of his music is hardcore underground rap and is full of explicit lyrics he no longer lives that way,losing many of his friends to the violence on the streets and many more to the judicial system,given a second chance he has turned his life around,he has taken on the responsibility of being a parent to his 4 children. he is trying to make a better life for them by turning his dreams into reality with hopes of being able to also give back to his community,starting his own record label and company he plans on being able to give jobs to those that need a second chance,to prove to those that don't believe that something good can come from the hood!!!
