Mahira and Aminah, two names long known in the Midwest community of bellydance, have joined forces to form Twisted Hipz!
Here, in a new creative junction, they bring together their own unique proficiencies in Cabaret, American Tribal, Egyptian, Raqs Gothique, and Tribal Fusion in order to expand new horizons for themselves and the larger world of bellydance. With combined dance experience of nine years, they seek to build on their pasts and develop new forms, functions, and ideas.
