I am just over 50 years old. I have a broad range of interests, both intellectual and not. I am passionate about my work, but my work only overlaps partly with my job. My work is about bringing together various activities of the body with intellectual and artistic pursuits - hence the mix of scientific research, long term visioning and artistic creation with dance and music, voice and breath, body movement and emotional awareness, and so forth.I have become somewhat of a social iconoclast over the past several years. A polite way of saying I don't mix a lot socially. I have friends online I maintain, and some friends off line, but I spend large chunks of time alone to my greater happiness and sense of well-being. This is perhaps counter-intuitive to many, but it has its charms.
