Einstein and the Dahli Llama, Hokusai is somebody as well but he died along time ago in a galaxy far far awayArtist’s Statement In the course of an artists career there will be many questions that they must ask themselves. These questions can range from what brought the person to art, why they do what they do and the like. An artist may never be able to fully answer these questions or answer them with great ease. For me these questions are still new. I am still exploring my art as a whole and the materials that I would create it with. I am also trying to learn what drives me, however I do know that with my art I want people to be introduced to what I feel, what I think of the world. I want people to open their eyes to things that I think are important to this world. In a sense I am politically and socially motivated. Since I am still new to the art world I am including in this pamphlet some items that show my art as a whole. I am including two dimensional works as well as three dimensional works. This is to show that I have a well rounded experience with many types of art and that I am still learning my trade. I prefer to work in sculptural materials such as metal, wood and clay however I try to train myself to use any type of material that I can so that I am as well rounded as I can be. I prefer sculptural materials like the ones listed above because they allow me to be physical with the piece, allowing me to work directly on the piece and to craft it into what I wish versus materials that have to be coaxed to do what you want them to do.
