until later.____________________________________________JESSE: my current listening selection is mostly jazz music and its derivatives, such as: charles mingus ("Ah Um" Era), miles davis until 1969 or so (favorites albums: Sketches of Spain, Porgy and Bess, and Milestones), and anything put out by monk and milt jackson, and charlie parker of course, the god of all music in my book. as far as rock music goes, i am currently listening to cake, yes dear, belle and sebastian, the beatles, the libertines, the rolling stones, and jimi hendrix. i also like country/ nashville/ bluegrass/ hillbilly music like elvis, john cash, hank williams, the mad cow string band, etc... back when i had a mohawk i was mostly listening to the clash, crass, flogging molly, x, the aquabats... some hip hop to check out is: digable planets, the gift of gab/blackalicious, living legends, del the funky homosapien, all the quannum records shtuff but especially lyrics born, ozomatli, really anything with interesting rythms and backbeats is what i like in that genre. i guess you could say i like musicians music, because when it hits you, you feel ok.
Sounds Like: a strange and at times wonderful mixture of rock music, pop music, jazz music, hippy music, electronic music, comedic music, reggae music, blue beat music, blues music, etc etc thouroughly soaked with the immoral support of joe forgatch.
