About Me

Gill is a well-known solo performer and has appeared on albums by Maartin Allcock (OX15) and Fairport Convention (The Cropredy Box). She was a founder member of “Nice Girls Don’t Explode” and in 2006 she recorded “Seize the Day” a limited edition CD with Maartin Allcock and Fairport’s Chris Leslie. Recorded to raise funds for Katherine House Hospice, the CD sold out in under a month. Gill and Nicole formed the well-remembered children’s theatre show “A Box of Secrets” as well as making up the duo “Er Next Door”.
Nicole has been playing the guitar since the age of seven. She began on a half size nylon strung guitar that her parents got with Green Shield Stamps (for those old enough to remember!). During her primary and secondary school years she attained grade 8 classical guitar with the Royal School of Music and also plays clarinet and piano. She has taught classical guitar for many years and works with one of the largest music services in the UK as well as being a County Conductor. Tony took up bass in the 70s, when he released the ultra rare single “Straightshooter/She’s so Fine. Sinking without a trace at the time, it now commands extortionate prices on Ebay! Tony still has 40 copies in the loft that he’s planning to sell and pay off his mortgage. He played with funk band “Zenith”, powerpop combo “the Chocolate Assasins”, and psychedelic trio “the Tangible Fruit Squad”. He even shared some studio time with Captain Sensible and Mick Ronson. Tony retired from bass playing in the 80s to take up aikido, in which he holds a 4th Dan grading. So as well as being the Coyotes’ bass player, he’s their bouncer. He returned to bass playing in 2005 and, as well as playing with the Coyotes, can regularly be seen playing with folk rockers, the Rogues and ace covers band, Chameleon.
