Maryse Ouellet est née le 21 janvier 1983 à Montréal, mais elle a grandie à Edmunstun au Nouveau Brunswick. Elle a fait carrière en tant que modèle. Elle a également remporté divers galas de beauté tel que le Miss Hawaiian tropic Canada 2003 (2eime au niveau international en 2004).Elle a effectuée quelques apparitions au Québec à la télévision (Flash, Sucré Salé, Testostérone,etc) et dans les revues (Dernière heure, Écho-Vedette, Summum, etc). Sa carrière a connue un boum lorsqu'elle a fait la couverture d'un numéro spécial du célèbre magasine Playboy en juin/juillet 2006. Il est prévue qu'elle pose nue dans un prochain numéro.Maryse est graduée en administration. Elle a pratiqué les arts martiaux de 8 à 16 ans.Elle s'est fait connaître dans le monde de la lutte en participant à l'édition 2006 du WWE Diva Search. Elle a été éliminée le 24 juillet 2006, devenant ici la deuxième participante à être éliminée par les fans.Malgré son élimination du concour, on dit qu'elle est une des favorites de la direction de la WWE et que l'on songerait à lui offrir un contrat après la fin de l'émission. She also appeared on the special edition of Playboy called "Blondes, Brunettes and Redheads".Maryse Ouellet was officially signed to a World Wrestling Entertainment developmental contract on August 24, 2006 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling for training.On the September 22, 2006 edition of SmackDown! , Ouellet being dubbed as simply Maryse, was shown on the titantron welcoming the Montreal viewers in (French) to the season premiere of SmackDown! on the new CW Network.
