About Me

Hey hey, Fuji are getting back onto the streets!!! Keep an eye out on King St, never know where we might be jamming. Please donate to our "Keep the Fuji Van" fund, we have a lot of repairs to pay for and we need your help! I launched into the world of music at age 7 with a crappy nylon string guitar makin whatever noises i could squeeze out of it. After a few years and a few better instruments i turned my attention to bass, and started playing with various high school bands doing swing to funk to rock. As time passed i found myself also learning double bass for the orchestra and drums as another passion.Nowadays i am playing in various projects and having a lot of fun doing it. I play bass in Fuji Collective - a 6 piece prog-heavy-funk-fusion band (musos are such wankers :) made up of some of my best friends from high school, working on our second album and gigging around Sydney. I play in Senani as well, a four piece funk/soul/rnb/pop group. I am also in the writing and recording stages of a metal project, which will hopefully be gigging at some time (check out the new tracks)..... and play double bass for various jazz groups.I have a recording set up as well, which is being used for Fuji's 3rd release and other projects. I am experienced in both recording and production. I also teach guitar and bass privately from my house, and can repair/set up guitars and basses. Check out Fuji Collective doin our thing: 2nd Album launch @ Vanguard 14/5/08 Thanks heaps to dad for the footage.
