Hope you have some medicine, cause it's time for you to get REAL ILL. They came up wit the name REAL ILL from the past member in the group J-ROC, Chris James, and other‘s. So when they broke up they found King Dooley which Chris James, and J-ROC been knowing all there life’s so they had to put him in the group to complete the puzzle. REAL ILL is a R&B, Hip-Hop, and Dance group. They all met each other there 5th grade year. Each of the members in REAL ILL bring there own flavor to songs. Chris James(singer and rapper) brings the old school slow jams mellow type of swag to the music. King Dooley(rapper and half singer) bring laid back soulful type of swag to the music. J-ROC(male rapper) brings the rock star(Wayne) type of swag to the music. Then put that all together nothing can stop them. REAL ILL recorded there first album in King Dooley basement. They had a cheap performing mic, and a bad program, but that didn't stop them to doing what they had to do. They recorded they first hit single So Sexy in that very same basement. Each member out the group is very dedicated. While recording the song So Sexy J-ROC walk all the way from the Rail cats stadium to 7th Durbin. Chris James is always at King Dooley house Faithfully at 9:00 in the morning, and King Dooley was always woke and willing to record. So REAL ILL very first show together was King Dooley 5th grade year Chris James 6th grade year, and J-ROC 7th grade year at a Gary own talent show. They came in 3rd place. REAL ILL was very mad, but that still didn't stop them from doing music. REAL ILL also write there own songs. That's what make them so great. Every song they made REAL ILL wrote. They been through some very rough times dealing with so called manager’s. REAL ILL said “every time a so called manager come up to them they always sound good at first. Telling us they gone do this, they gone do that, but never succeeded”, but that still didn’t stop REAL ILL. So now King Dooley sophomore year in schoole, Chris James junior year in school, and J-ROC senior year in school REAL ILL finally met well as they say “ D4L Manager” Mr. Allen. Now Mr. Allen been doing music for a while, and he been searching for new good talent. Then one day he was coming to the boys and girls club for a workshop and saw REAL ILL perform. Mr. Allen had nothing else to say no more talent to search they was right there in front of him. Mr. Allen said” he never saw a group of kids this good”. Since REAL ILL have Mr. Allen now they went to studio’s in Chicago, came across celebrity’s, and open up new doors for them. REAL ILL is also coming out with a 5 track demo or more. Featuring songs like: I can be your King Show out So Sexy Ride out Space ship And more……… So this not the only time you will hear about REAL ILL .
