About Me

Chicago native, Tim O'Donnell is well known around the Chicago Blues-scene. Student of Harlan Terson(The Blues person), he has performed at Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy's Legends, Bills Blues in Evanston and many other venues. Tim is currently playing Bass with Sammy Fender & Blues Masters. Other Chicago legends he has performed with include Michael Dotson and Felix Reyes in Chi-Town Rhthm, Danny Draher, Charlie Love, James Wheeler, Smokin' Joe Kelly, Chainsaw Dupont and many more. Tim has been teaching privaetly for fifteen years. The past two summers he was an instructor at CampJam USA. A nation-wide Rock'n'Roll camp founded by Jeff Carlisse (38 special) and will be featured on MTv's 2009 series of "Camped Out". He taught Bass, Guitar, Masters classes and conducted clinics on diatonic theory. The people he worked and performed with at Camp Jam include Ricky Byrd(Joan Jett and the Black Hearts), Peter Strout (Sheryl Crow) Carmine Apacci (Vanilla Fudge, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart) Derek Saint Holmes( Ted Nugent) and Jim Peterik (Survivor). He also is the instructor for the ensemble program at the BooCoo organazation in Evanston. His enthusiastic nature and unending patience has enjoyed great results in helping kids and adults make music in group settings. ****ALL SONGS ON MYSPACE ARE LIVE RECORDINGS****
