..Lots of things. I teach voice, piano and tap dancing, so that stuff. And drama. Actually, anything that lets me get on stage and show off (all that about not liking to talk about myself was bologna. I'm a performer, I love talking about myself. I just don't like blatantly admitting that I love talking about myself). I LOVE reading. I am a fountain of useless knowledge. I like to know little trivia bits about things. To see some highly entertaining tap dancing, check this out:Then watch these guys do an impressive immitation:
Gene Kelly. He's my all-time favorite dancer. Amazing footwork. And a pretty cool person, from what I've read.
I love music in so very many forms, which is why I majored in it. And being a musician, I have lots of musician friends. Several of the coolest ones are in this band:
Romantic comedies, fantasy adventure (particularly old swashbuckling films) and of course the grand old movie musicals. "Singin' in the Rain", "The Music Man" and "The Sound of Music" are some of my favorites of those.
I don't really watch it anymore. There's a toddler in my house now, so The Upside Down Show (cheers, great show), or Sesame Street or (shudder) Barney is usually on in the background.
NOT-A-SPOILER WARNING: The banner below is for the results of a quiz I took BEFORE reading Deathly Hallows about what I THOUGHT was going to happen in it. The claim made on said banner and the answers to the questions you'll find if you follow the link are utterly devoid of authority as to the actual contents of the book and are therefore not spoilers. So, if you haven't read the book yet, fear not. You won't be spoiled by me.I dearly love C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia". I also love the Christian romance/historical fiction of Francine Rivers and the work of Nora Roberts, and Mary Higgins Clark when I'm feeling suspenseful. I enjoy other classics like "Little Women", "Emma" and "Lord of the Rings". Books in general, actually. I always say that a well-loved book is like an old friend.
Miss Frances from my dance class. She's 83 and still dancing. This has lead to my dance (and life) philosophy: "Dance until you die".
