Born in Durham, North Carolina but raised in the rural city of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Bridgette Alese knew she was destined for greatness. At a very young age, she exhibited the drive, ambition, and charisma that it takes to break into the entertainment industry. From sitting and idolizing the fly girls on “In Living Color”, to being referred to as “Alese”, the mother from Family Ties, everyone that saw Bridgette Alese knew it was only a matter of time before she took the world by storm. Since childhood, Bridgette Alese has been an in-your-face, tell-it-like-it-is, no sugar coating but very caring and passionate person. Although she was raised in the south with hospitality, grace, and charm, it did not stop her from being tenacious and moving outside of her element to fulfill her destiny. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After graduating from Winston-Salem State University in 2007, Bridgette Alese relocated to Washington, DC, where she became a production assistant for BET J Digital Network. Her initial tasks were submitting music cue sheets to publishers, filing multiple expense reports, booking travel, creating interview questions for talent and more! Her work ethic was noticed by several producers and it was not long before Bridgette became a producer for shows such as “In Video” and “Island Lime. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In January of 2008, Bridgette was selected as the host for BET’s Red Carpet, which aired on the online version of BET called “Bet OnBLAST”. Hosting the red carpet event at the BET Honors Award Show in Washington, DC showed her just what it would take to make an entrance in this business. From there, it lead to Bridgette interviewing Avant, multi-platinum American R&B singer, for her “In Video” show, who just a couple of days ago, she was watching on television. Bridgette was astounded and she took full advantage as she conducted a plethora of interviews with celebrities, and delivered the opening/closing segment to online viewers of BET. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She had aided for BET’s popular show “Rip the Runway” and the 2008 BET Award's Black Carpet After-Party. She has set out to establish her own destiny, paving the way for herself by starting her own entertainment company, online talk show, and a motivational speaking program known as "Success with Swagger."
