About Me

Becca Kaufman, a native New Yorker, moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University’s renowned theatre program. She realized singing and songwriting were her true passions and her talents are featured on commercials for Coke, Diet Coke, Bally's, Buick and many others. Her character voices can be heard on many games and toys from manufacturers such as Konami, Hallmark and the smash CD-ROM series 'You Don't Know Jack'.

Live performances have ranged from her critically acclaimed cabaret show “The Show Biz Kids” with Emmy Award Winner Dick O’Day, to “School House Rock Live”. She has appeared on stage with performers such as Lily Tomlin, Brooke Shields, Phoebe Snow, Tony Roberts and Ellen Burstyn. Some of her favorite gigs have included singing the National Anthem for the world champion Chicago Bulls and her forever-losing New York Knicks.

Becca is the Founder and Executive Producer of Singer Spotlight Productions , offering vocalists of all experience levels monthly showcase opportunities and educational experiences around Chicago land.

Becca was the Producer and one of the singer/songwriters on Music for the Heart, a collection of 23 original children’s songs, benefiting The Children’s Heart Foundation, released in 2002. The album made it to the final round of Grammy considerations for Best Children’s Album.

Becca’s passion for weddings has led her career down many different paths, covering every aspect of wedding organization, planning and execution. She has shared the knowledge she has acquired through the years with her own radio show, I Do, I Do, on 105.9FM, WCKG, Chicago. She is recognized as a “wedding expert” and has made many television appearances locally and nationally. Her wedding tips have been featured in The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times and In Style Magazine. Becca and her radio co-host Paula Ramsey were contributors and consultants in the recently released New York Times Best Selling Book, Chicken Soup for the Bride’s Soul. Becca and Paula recently launched WeddingQuestions.com bringing their wedding knowledge to an even bigger audience.

Becca has performed with many society bands including The Don Cagen Orchestra, TVK Music, Orchestra 33, The Bobby Schiff Band & The Ken Arlen Orchestra. She performed exclusively with The Ralph Wilder Orchestra for seven years and then went on to lead The Wilder 2 Orchestra for three. Becca is thrilled to finally step out on her own with the Becca Kaufman Orchestra .
