MySpace Graphics MySpace Layouts MySpace Backgrounds MySpace Codes Glitter GraphicMySpace LayoutsMySpace GeneratorsMySpace EditorMySpace GraphicsMySpace GamesRaised for the most of my youth in Franconia, and then Durham, New Hampshire, and schooled in late adolescence/early adulthood (?) in Santa Cruz, California, now currently kicking it in Portland, Maine. Parents were hippies, well... guess they still are. I Grew up on Reggae, Blues, Classic Rock, and Soul. got into the Hip Hop for real in High school. Have been into writing since I learned how to spell, and got into the rappin when my best friend of 7th grade freestyled to me for the first time. First ghetto recordings took place in early 2002: adopted the alias Universe/UV. Then on to rocking open mics, political rallies, streetside cyphers, house parties, Moontribe gatherings, Burning Man, until a fated meeting with Random Mysticks, newly arrived from Chi-Town, led to the original formation of the Serendipity Project (big ups) After a year plus performing together with like five other MCs and the whole band, it was time to call the deal quits. I fell in love and was stolen away to journey to Central America for four months. Upon return, various projects and collaborations occurred with varying amounts of success. Working in hip hop workshops with MOVE: making our voices empowered; and music and shows with the likes of Donny Bedtime, Stepworthy, Soup, Stanley Vanagon & the Ultramytes, The Harshmellows, Malignant, Sephouri, Chameleon, Ghostshrimp, etc. After about seven years soaking up the sun of Cali, it was time to return to the east coast. In the fall of 2006, we arrived in P-Town, Maine. Enrolled full-time at Maine College of Art, music had to simmer on the back burner... it still simmers... but the joints on this page were all created over the course of the year with the homies. A few appearances at the Big Easy Monday Night open mics here and there were recently replaced by the unexpected arrival of identical twin boys, Haven and Dorian Bird DuBois on June 22, 2006. The mantle of Lucid was adopted, and I dream of the day when I have the time to focus all forces on music again. Til then, enjoy the slim pickings this page has to offer. I will add newness as it filters into my existence... One Love and Many Blessings to all the heads out there...
