Influences:First and far most, my main influence is God aka Love...cause God is Love and Love is my inspiration. I am influenced by the God in some artists, such as Erykah Badu, Sade, Amel Larrieux, Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Maya Angelo, Black Star, Bob Marley, Tupac...I love Pac, (as my bumper sticker reads). There are so many influences, my mother, my son and motherhood, my neighborhoods, my teachers, my peers, my friends, my family, new orleans’ poets, reality, life, happiness, sadiness, emotions, meditations, trials and tribulations, mistakes, and corrections..........
Cool Slideshows!everyday i live and breathe i’m influenced by people, places, and things, from the ghetto to the suburbs, from the wino to the mayor, from the hoopie to the g ride. But to be truely free is the reason i write and ride. My inspiration is to fine tune the focus that we are moving further away from the Dream that Dr. King had, by selling ourselves cheap like some slaves for the American Dream.
