About Me

Raise the Curtain is a band consisting of four men. After having done some experimental projects the band was born in 2006, from Ricote Chris on Drums, SchÃ¼tz Tom on Guitar, Benassutti Laurent on Vocals and De Castro Steve on Bass.
They started to play shows in 2007, unfortunaly after a few shows we were obliged to take a break due our singer who had an accident at our last show. Fortunately within three month he were fully recovered and the band were keeping ourselves busy writing a whole new set of new songs and put the finishing touch on the old songs. And they will come back in 2009!!!!
It is hard to define their style; however it is a mix of Rock/Emotional Hardcore with a small touch of progressive ! Their sound is influenced by Bands like Thursday, Deftones, The Bled, Poison the Well ....
After a long time of songwriting and rehearsing, we hope to play many shows and have fun with you! :)
