Santosh Ritter was born in 1978, in Andheri West (Mumbai/India) and was raised in Zurich, Switzerland. He combines his heritage with the western culture he grew custom while growing up in Europe, and demonstrates a different approach on how he interprets and produces music.When he was 10 years old he started playing the clarinet and later on tried saxophone followed by guitar. He played classic, jazz and rhythm & blues. Finally, in 1997 he discovers his true passion for electronic music, and shortly after produces his first track on his first synthesize Roland MC-505 Groove box.Already early on he was inspired by big musicians like Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Ravi Shankar, and many other artists which at the time, of course, were trend setters and a step ahead of their time….Santosh’s music and productions contain progressive tones, strong basses, exciting percussion sets and harmonic melodies. All his pieces seem to float between the western 4/4 and the Indian Ragga…. an extraordinary experience all along…In 2006 he launched the progressive label and booking acency progresstunes.com which he leads as executive manager
