About Me

I'm currently living in Brandon, FL, which is truly Suburbia. Stores are clogged with breeders and their spawn. Don't even attempt to find a restaurant without a line on Friday or Saturday, because by law these are the only days parents (with or without their families) can go out to eat in Suburbia. We're moving to South Tampa at the end of May, and we'll be only minutes from all the best local hangouts like Ybor City. Suburbia is best left to the breeders, and they're welcome to it!
I find myself continually cutting a new path forward in my life. This means exploring most opportunities that come my way, as I never want to look back on my life wishing I had done something I passed up. It is said "the follies which a man regrets most are those which he did not commit when he had the opportunity." This philosophy has lead me to become pagan, non-monogamous, and a little kinky. I am a student of life, and feel there is no better way to know myself than to experience all that is out there to experience.
I am not mainstream nor normal, so I don't pretend to disguise myself as such. My hair is usually bright pink, red, or orange, maybe in dreads or braided up with yarn, and I have a penchant for short skirts and patent leather heels. I have no need for the conventions of society unless they serve my purposes - why should I live my life by other peoples' arbitrary rules?
I'm currently hard at work renovating our surburbia house to rent out. My own animal household consists of two small dogs, a large cat, and a couple guinea pigs, things are pretty peaceful at home. Chores and errands still languish nearby though. What can I say, I'm no Martha Stewart! But every now and then, someone lights a fire under me - or I just get lit - and buckle down for some domestic duties. How boring! I'd rather be hosting a party!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Straight off the bat, I'm not easy to impress. When it comes to people, I'm cynical and I have high standards. Don't take my photos at face value and thinkin' I'm easy - nothing could be further from the truth!

I'm looking for a leading man, a la Humphrey Bogart, to charm the pants off me ;-) A man should be a gentleman and a rogue - at the right times - and treat a lady with respect (if she's earned it.) He should be self-assured, confident, and feel comfortable taking the lead in a 1940s chivalrous manner. He will likely be cunning, preferring to lure his prey in with sensual promise rather than chase her down with brute force. He will relish the challenge presented by a strong and independent woman, knowing that to win her over with charm is a great victory and testament to his virility.

I like people that are confident without being self-absorbed. If you want someone to listen to you talk incessantly about yourself, find someone else! If you're a victim and need someone to feel sorry for you, call a hotline! I'm a true and loyal friend, but I'm not the shoulder to cry on every time you get in a fight with your boyfriend. I've got no time to waste on narcissists, martyrs, or victims. Boo-hoo!

On the other hand, if you enjoy socializing and conversation involving an exchange of ideas and a give and take, then by all means let's meet over a glass of wine!

V-Day Reflections

Generally I'm not a big fan of commercialized and artificially created holidays.  However, on this day I've decided to make an exception.  Not by buying bouquets of flowers and boxes of choc...
