I have many interests. I just don't have the time or the space to do any of it. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family and friends. My family is very important to me and I love to be around them. As you can see...we keep connected here on myspace! My friends are also just as important, especially the one's that know me well. They know who they are... I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. I also enjoy running, camping, fishing... basically an outdoorsy person. SUPRISED? Well don't be!
I'd like to meet:
Anyone that's new and interesting! Lately I've met a few interesting people...new friends are a good thing! Also reconnecting with old friends... Although I am not into people who tell me what they have... tell me WHO you are.
Music:
I listen to everything. Where should I start...Stevie Nicks, Kenny Chesney, Eagles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Ozzy, Johnny Cash, Suicidal Tendencies, Social Distortion, Bob Marley, Janet Jackson...I like all kinds of music. I know some of these shouldn't even be in the same sentence but I like ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! There's just so much variety that I can't be devoted to one genre or one artist. The 80's era is also a favorite of mine...name it and I'm sure I've liked it.
Movies:
Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Breakfast Club, Grease...those would be my all time favorites. I also like Wedding Planner, I have a story along with that movie, and it includes contractions. Also enjoy a good Disney movie or cartoon with my little man and we're still watching Thomas the Tank Engine. As long as the movie is a funny one, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, like I said, I love to laugh.
Television:
George Lopez, Grey's Anatomy, re-runs of Friends, Will and Grace and any cartoon that is showing when I'm around the t.v. I don't watch t.v. much, I should get cable. My son is usually the one that watches t.v.
Books:
I'm not an avid reader, I usually end up falling asleep half way through the first page. I read stuff off the internet, that's my source of the outside world. The phone book has been my friend lately, it's all apart of my job. OKAY...I have to assist Mason with his daily reading now that he has started school so WE have been trying to read every evening....so any good book that Mason is up for we read.
Heroes:
I would have to say my first teacher...shi masani. My grandmother was such a unique person and taught me a lot. ***A POEM*** Shi Masani was there when I needed an ally -

My little sister Janelle is also my hero. She's a very strong individual and I praise her for all her efforts and accomplishments-I love you Jan, I couldn't, wouldn't and won't trade you for anything! My sister Jacquelyn...she's too smart for her own good and that head she has is going to take her far in life. Then of course there is my Baby Mason Kobe Ike...I don't know where or what I would do without him! So all of my EVERYTHINGS (Mason, Scott, Jackie, Janelle, Delerie and Derek)...thank you for being who you are and more...I love you all very much!!!
