Forming in late 2006, the origins of 6' 2 yr Old were found in Guitarists Mike Killduff and Seamus Stimpson. Months later with the addition of Percussionist Jarrett Courtney along with Multi Instrumentalist Liam Carroll,and Violinist Nicole Harvey, the band took it's shape with a consistantly changing line-up.Not long after it's initial forming, more bands would spawn or be assosiated with it.
