Pagen Elypsis was formed in the late stages of 2004 by two emerging emcees by the names of Motive & Pohetikut, intent on expandind thier rap credentials. From here they inducted a third and promising party, by the name of Purpose, who had been involved with the two founding memebers since day one. The idea was to create an alternate group of emcees outside of thier originating groups(being the Skeptiks & at that time Figures of Speech). From here it spawned. Inducting fellow skeptik and long time friend of the 3 emcees, Kadowg. This, inturn, created the feel of a crew more than a "group", which set the tone for the first "crew" track to be produced, aptly named "Pagen Elypsis".
The track was well received, and shed a bit more well earned light on both the crew and its affiliating groups.
Since then the crew has emerged as one of the most talented collectives Australia has to offer to its hiphop scene. Adding to its ranks, the likes of Dj's Sum1 & Initials, and the lyricists Prime and Sedate.To Reiterate, Members consist of:

& Dj Sum1 (The Skeptiks) and Prime & Sedate (Of NU Versatility)Several members of the crew have become very prominant in the battle scene, taking out such titles as revolver 06, National Scribble Jam championships, DON 1, City Of Verses 2 (Purpose), All City 5, DON 2, (Prime), DON 3, Put Your Dukes Up, and Off the Street (Motive). PE has been steadily working on the Double 07 Mixtape, which is ready to drop mid June 2007.
Originating member, and DON records signee, Purpose, has been hard at work in the studio recording his debut album 'Where it Starts', due to drop mid/late 2007. There are plenty of plans for additions to the DON records catalog from Various PE members, so keep and ear and an eye out for the PE product!For now, the proof is in the music.1
