HOLY SMOKES!!!
I just looked at our last update, and it was seriously like JULY?!?! haha...well a LOT has gone on since then actually.
Where to start...alright so we did another tour in the fall, everyone knows that. We were gone out west for the 2nd time and as always, had a blast :)..we have friends that span from here to the west coast that treat us like family, and you guys will never be forgotten if we ever make it big, we promise.
Alright, enough about the tour haha. We seem to have really good luck with our music, whether it be LUCK, or good writing on our part (I think its luck) haha but everytime we put a new song up on our myspace, another label contacts us from the states to get our music out on their compilation. First time, it was Bystander on TEA music out of Toronto. This time, it was "from the top" and we had two labels contact us, one was in Las Vegas, and the other was in Baltimore (Quickstar). We chose to go on the Baltimore one, because it seemed like a better choice for us at the time. It is going to be released worldwide, sent out to every major label worldwide, and even available on ITunes...US...on ITunes...its crazy to think about. Should be released around March 1st.
Hmmm...in other news, after our tour, we haven't been gigging much for many different reasons. But we have been writing our asses off. We have found a new groove to play in and it really feels good to all of us. It is more...straight forward rock, and not our old "multi-genre" attitude. Its pretty damn sweet if I do say so myself. We are going into the studio this coming weekend to see if we can knock all 4 of the new songs out of the park. With some good company of some lucky, some mario kart 64, and some other fun things...im sure we will do so.
But yeh thats catching you cats up to speed.
So far our next BRANDON GIG is:
February 28th at the Hill, with our good Brandon buds, anamemeansnothing, and a good Winnipeg band, The Savants. I believe it's only 5 bucks, and really with us, you know you get what you pay for....which is usually a complete mockery haha.
sooo until next time....watch where you pee....it could be a homeless mans house.. (ask cal about that story in good ol calgay) hahaha
