About Me

When Chris was born 15 years ago, little did I know the type of relationship we would develop years later. I wasn't even playing gigs at the time and was just starting to hit the open mic scene. I had taught myself to play the piano since I was 12, but had only been playing guitar for a couple of years...and singing??? Forget it. I never even thought about it. Severely lacking in confidence, it was at an open mic that I met one of my closest friends...Mingo Lodge. Mingo asked me to join his band the Surf Cowboys. For the next several years, I had the time of my life playing with those guys. The band changed to the Serf Cowboy Solution then eventually Big Boss Sausage. I owe so much to Mingo...for he was the one who told me to keep my head up...get a PA and start doing shows on my own...both acoustically and with my newly formed Chuck Fantasia Band. . If it wasn't for Mingo and also I should mention Mike Lawlor (who so graciously used to let me jam with the Travelin' Bubanas) I would have never had the confidence to keep trying to get better. Those guys never turned their noses up towards people just starting out. Meanwhile...by the time Chris was 4 years old...I realized musically he was more than special. He had perfect pitch and would mirror me on the guitar...that is how he ended up playing lefty. Over the years he has become better and better and now at the age of 15, he continues to drop jaws wherever we play. He would also watch me play piano and just pick up that instrument as well. Many times a son will call his father his "hero" but I must say that Chris is an inspiration to me and is truly MY hero.Check out Chris' band "Shock and Awe"......they are listed as our 1 friend. They are four amazing 15 year olds who kick much ass. Two of the songs above...."Empty Dreams" and "You don't Even Know" are Shock and Awe songs. Also, check out my other band "Fever" which is a crazy party cover band available for clubs, parties and weddings. Fever is below in our top friends.PEACE.
