I used to know. But events in my life over the last year have caused me to rethink this answer.
10-04 Update- I've met some pretty nifty peoples and made some pretty nifty friends. And one or two very special ones. And they know who they are. If you don't know? You ain't one of them. Sorry Charlie.
Best I can say for right now is I'm not expecting anything and not looking for anything specific anymore. If new people come into my life then great.
It appears what I thought I wanted wasn't true possibly. So right now I'm just looking for temporary casual breaks in an otherwise solo existance.
And I'm up for getting to know anyone (or everyone if you ask some of my friends).
Sci-Fi, Comedies like Airplane, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Empire Records, High Fidelity, Gross Pointe Blank, the more absurdist the better. Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, but mostly I want to goto a movie to forget about the world for 90-120 minutes. So the more esapist it is the better I like it. Dramas tend to reflect too much real life, I get that enough already.
SG-1, Robot Chicken, CSI:All of them, M*A*S*H, old Warner Brothers cartoons, Buffy, Lost, Mythbusters, and thats just off the top of my head that I watched this weekend. My DVR is the greatest tool ever. I'm also a habitual channel flipper so anything channels 1 thru 1000. Oh and Public Access shows, I love to stop and check them out. Going to produce my own one day soon.
Terry Pratchett, Piers Anthony, Neil Gaiman, Carl Hiaasen, Tao of Pooh, Te of Piglet, Gaming books, comic books, Douglas Adams, Jim Butcher's Dresden books, R.A. Salvatore, anything funny and sci-fi/fantasy at the same time.
Michele for saving my profile. :)
