About Me

It all started with a Casio keyboard when I was about 15. As basic as it was the fact that synthesized sound was small enough to fit on your lap, it just amazed me. I'd sit for hours just "messing" around with it but eventually the sounds got old. Casio continued to release more advanced keyboards with drum pads and cool bassline/synth effects but soon came a new dawn -- the Roland 808.Around the same time (early to mid 80s) computers from Atari and Commodore were doing battle with each other as both gaming and electronic music became very popular. Though the C64 had decent sounds it could not match the Atari 800's synth and percussion abilities. Now, as home computers and gaming systems are more popular than ever, so continues my fascination with their musical capabilities. It's an endless journey really... searching for a "perfect" sound and still smiling even when you've heard it over and over again...
