.. .. Part 4 of Produkt of a Tortured Mind is truncated coz it was too long...Part 6 is missing coz my subscription for the plug-in that converts stuff to mp3 format ran out. Anyway, that 50 min project was remixed to 35 mins and used in a live set with keyboard/synth module mixed in. (LATEST: Recently, at long last, I aquired a new laptop and Ableton Live software, so you'll shortly be able to hear the final 35 min mix of Produkt of a Tortured Mind (I might tweek it a bit first); I've already done a mix of the other stuff on here to put on CD for promoters and suchlike (SOMEBODY GIVE ME A GIG, PLEASE!!!! YOU ALL KEEP SAYING YOU WILL, THEN I DON'T HEAR FROM YOU...MAYBE THINGS MIGHT CHANGE A LITTLE NOW ;-)); I'm working on a few new tunes and breakbeat, techno, and D&B/jungle (and some harder/wierder stuff) Ableton DJ set, and I've recently finished editing 3 long China Shop Bull gig videos, including the 145 min tour documentary , which I've serialised on my Facebook page. I also intend getting some VJ software, and editing some videos for my own tunes. The Unity Day project is on hold, as I lost most of the footage from the day itself and the set-up day, but I got some more footage this year. .. ..

Add to My Profile | More Videos.. .. I'm originally from Sunderland, but I've lived in Leeds for 10 years thus far. I'm a graduate of the Northern Film school (as it used to be called), Leeds Met Uni. At this point, I've worked on about 60 short dramas/comedies; a few documentaries (including my own feature-lengthed anti-war doc, No Blood For Oil); a handful of adverts for the Kodak competition; a few pop-promos; and most recently, lots of live gigs for internet & DVD. I've experience of 35mm/Super 16mm/16mm/Super 8mm film, DV/DVcam/miniDV/DigiBeta etc. Most of these have been student productions, some semi-pro, and most recently as part of the collective I've co-founded, Art Asylum. I've specialised in direction, screenwriting, art direction, camera operator, editor, and have also performed the roles of (sometimes more than once), producer, production designer, continuity/script-supervisor, sound designer, sound editor, ass. sound ed., ass. art dir., set designer, set builder, set decorator, set dresser, props master, props person, sound recordist, boom operator, foley, marshall, actor, extra etc. etc. .. ..

I used to sing in an anarcho-punk band called Hex, and have experience of djing; guitar; bass; hand drums; keyboards/synths; music editing computer programs; roadieing; promting gigs, etc. etc.. I'm currently helping fellow Art Asylum co-founder and close friend Zebra (www.myspace/zebratag) with his fundraising gigs, and occasionally djing/performing/promoting there and elsewhere (with my old mate Mick Hart in the Brudenell Social Club for instance....hi Mick).
