About Me

My name is Aaron Ellis, I am 18, and a former student of KGV College; where I studied Classics, History, and Philosophy. The two passions that dominate my life are politics and literature. I have spoken twice in Parliament and won various honours for my writing. My eventual aim in life is to become Prime Minister, seeing I cannot become President of either the United States or France. My religion is Roman Catholicism, and I try to justify the many sinful things I do by the phrase: "a good Catholic is a sinful Catholic."My virtues: intelligence; maturity; a habit for forgiving those it is not in my interests to forgive; eloquence in speech and writing; "voice of an angel"My vices: arrogance; occasional self-centredness; lazyness; rare outbursts of pique.

My Interests

I'm a political nut. I love politics. (My first memory is of Margaret Thatcher...) I'm an aspiring writer, too. I've written the second draft of a novel, 179 pages long, and will be writing the third draft in summer. I'm also an aspiring intellectual, enjoying discussions on God, philosophy, politics, sexual subliminal messages in 'Wizadora', socio-economic reasons for cordial international relations with Thailand, whether John Paul and Craig will live happily ever after on 'Hollyoaks', etc. I love art - collection of, viewing of - and architecture. I also love "proper" sports (cricket, rugby, tennis)In the future, I would like to take up horse-riding again.

I'd like to meet:

Inspector Morse

Music:

Everything from Gregorian chants to Beethoven's Quartets to Rolling Stones.

Movies:

Books:

Too many. I've a personal library of over 300 books.

My Blog

Only in generalised history do events seem to repeat themselves.

It's my belief that it is only in generalised history do events repeat themselves, and the problem that arises from generalised history is people basing their philosophies on them. I am thinking prima...
