About Me

Christoph Baeurle started to play Wind Instruments at a very young age. After a long "Journey" through different stages of classical education he finally discovered his interest for Jazz Music at the age of fourteen years. He learned pretty fast, that it was nearly hopeless to find a gig in a local band by playing the Bb Clarinet. So the switch to the Altosax was desperately needed. After a few years of taking lessons with local based Saxophone Heroes another important change happened. Influenced by great players as Coltrane or Brecker he bought his first Tenorsax. From that moment on a never ending love affair for this type of Saxophone started.
He now began to practice really hard and finally decided to study at a Frankfurt based academy for professional music education with a degree.
During his years at this academy he started to play the first Tenorsax at the Darmstadt - City Bigband. Many Workshops with famous Musicians such as Bob Mintzer, Ack van Royen and others influenced him a lot in these years.
After his Diploma at the FMW he played Gigs with many local and international known Jazz and Soul Bands. •The Gypsys • Jon Hammond • Roland Haynes • Tülay&Band • The Weather Girls • Soul Department • Vibes • West of the Moon.....just to name some of them.
He played on numerous CD Projects and works as a Saxophone teacher and Band Coach with private students and also at schools. Currently he is engaged with different studio projects and with the production of his own CD. --Thanks for visiting--..
