I am interested in writing, singing, drawing, painting, although writing is my favorite thing to do. I also love to put make up on people and transform their face into something so beautiful, or even more beautiful than it is.
I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet Larenz Tate. He is a great actor and I think he is not given the props he deserves. Denzel Washington! Everybody wants to meet him, huh? He's like fine wine and gets better with time. I would like to meet Maya Angelou or Nikki Giovanni. Great poets and great women! I want to meet Jamie Foster Brown from Sister to Sister magazine. Just phenomenol! I'd also like to meet Oprah Winfrey. This woman is an icon and she represents greatness to me. There's so many more people, too many to name so I'll leave it at these few, for now.
Music:
I love R&B, I love hip hop(although I'm sick of alot of the trashy lyrics that have no substance anymore), I love GOSPEL, pop, even some contemporary country music I like! Hey, good music is good music....And I know good music when I hear it!
Movies:
My new favorite movie is called FACING THE GIANTS! THAT MOVIE MAKES YOU LAUGH, CRY, REJOICE....IT'S INSPIRATIONAL!!! GET THAT MOVIE!!! I love comedies. I love to laugh! So movies like nutty professer, little man, talledega nights...just to name a few--Anything funny I LOVE.
Television:
The PJ's(Eddie Murphy is hilarious), House of Payne(Tyler Perry) I even watch Will and Grace reruns. Martin(Lawrence) anything funny!
Books:
Addicted by Zane. It has you thinking you know what is going to happen and then it takes you on a roller coaster ride and there are so many twist and turns and surprises that you are left with your mouth wide open. This book could easily be a block buster movie. "If Your Girl Only Knew by Dwayne S. Joseph. I love Sister to Sister magazine!
Heroes:
My mother and grandmother, my dad. These people are the wind beneath my wings. But my spiritual hero is God. And I say this with all sincerity because the way God loves me, is just the reason I have hope that all things are possible. God is so real. He talks to me and he listens to me. I talk to Him and casts all my heavy burdens on Him. I tell Him all the desires of my heart. God has given me so many of the things that I prayed for and He understands me when no one does and has never turned His back on me. He delivered me from smoking addictions and so many other bad habits. He made me a better person that I might help the next man and be an example of what God can do. If it wasn't for Him I wouldn't have my mother, father, grandmother, husband, and beautiful daughter. God is awesome, He saved me, and He is truly my hero.
