Eiosis was created in 2006 to release musical products for musicians, producers, and sound engineers. We already released AirEQ and the ELS Vocoder. The ELS Vocoder is a great sound design tool, vocal effect and also can be used as a vox pad synthesizer. Listen to the songs i've made with it !!

The Vocoding effect allows to apply the spectral shape of a command signal to a synthesis signal. This way, you can produce robot voices, speaking synthesizers or voices effects, but also use it on drums or other instruments.
The ELS Vocoder also excels in sound design, vox pad synthesis and special effects, thanks to its numerous features and its formant matrix.
The Vocoder was conceived and designed firstly by Homer Dudley, engineer at Bells Laboratories. The original purpose of the Vocoder was to insure a transmission of the voice with a reduced bandwidth. It was presented the first time in 1939 under the name of Voder (Voice Operating DEmonstratoR). It hadn’t a lot of success for this application because it gave to the voice a a too much robotic sound too much !
It was then improved under the name Vocoder, the contraction of Voice Coder, and it was used in various domains of telecommunications then quickly in electronic music.
In this field, famous artists like Wendy Carlos, Kraftwerk, Tangerine dream, then later, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and more recently Madonna or Daft Punk, used some Vocoder sounds in their music.
Thanks to the ELS Vocoder, it is now possible and easy to reproduce the particular character and warmth of the analog Vocoders.
