CZAS DLA NAS

Czas Dla Nas (Time For Us) consists of 4 members originating from Poznan. Their cooperation started in 2006 but they have been friends ever since the kindergarten. Before 2006, Cegla (Brick) and Ryba (Fish), two of the members, took part in separate rap projects that unfortunately did not succeed. In the beginning of 2005 the initiative of creating music together came to life. The first recordings took place in the begging of 2006 – until then the 2-member band were collecting funds to set their own recording studio, willing to remain independent of anyone. In February the band was joined by Amur and DJ Jaxon and the name Czas Dla Nas (C.D.N.) was invented (it is a wordplay; CDN in Polish is an abbreviation of “to be continued”). Their first indie/illegal debut recording was completed by the end of 2006 and made its appearance in the beginning of 2007 being distributed in skate shops in Poznan. The mix and mastering was done by the famous Poznan producer Tabb. The record was featured by Bobik (rap, production of 2 pieces), Ana (vocal), Sadam (guitar) and DJ Jaxon (scratches). The whole record was arranged and produced by C.D.N. At present, the second record is being worked on and it will have much more guest appearances (their list is classified for now…).
